Cruise Past Fjords, Lighthouses, and Wildlife on an Acadian Boat Tour
Experience breathtaking views of nesting osprey, Bear Island Lighthouse, and harbor seals sunning themselves on rocks, with an exquisite backdrop of Acadia’s dramatic mountains on the first portion of the cruise.
The biggest highlight of the middle portion of the trip is the 45-minute stop at Little Cranberry Island, the 200-year-old lobster fishing village, where we visit Acadia National Park’s distinguished Islesford Historical Museum and explore an untouched offshore island community that reminds us of days gone by.
The final hour of the trip sails deep into Somes Sound Fjord for an amazing view of the vertical Eagle Cliffs rising straight up from the sea.
